Is there any good OS X .wav/.aiff audio editing software? Audacity didn't seem any good. Peak seems more than i'm looking for. Whatever happened to simple apps like Sound Edit Pro? I am having a tough time downsampling wavs so they work correctly in my Korg Electribe ES1.

another vote from an OSX MOTU 828 user. I've been let down by a lot of hardware and software in my day, but never by the MOTU!

Midi-sync in live does suck. solution. don't use Live as the master. Your hardware will have stable sync and Live works fine as a slave in sync mode.
