what dial? thats the purpose of the automation is to turn the dry/wet dial itself. it doesnt seem you can get the same reaction from leaving a dial all the way up compared to automation climbing slowly?
confusing post

i dont care if this is noob or what but its frustrating the shit outta me. all im trying to do is automate a ping pong onto an audio sample. i have the sample flagged down to size and i go into envelope section of clip in session view, selcet on the top drop down ping pong, bottom is feedback ...

kinda euro kinda purple. a lot of reggae/rasta influence as well which to me is early dubstep like 06 07 ish. but a lot of that like kryptic minds and tes la rok tracks are new new. i just like the darker stuff and heavy that actually sticks to 70 bpm

anybody have any insight on the flatpak stuff from ableton?

Yea acoustic drums is what im looking for kind of. Just hip hop ish sounds but synthetic is also appealing. nothing can match drum machine sounds for sure. microtonic is NI?

I've been contemplating Reason. Not sure the deal with rex files though. native instruments is always good but cant really get used to the interface of all their software. just looking for any other good recommendations

Always save. Obviously not every 5 minutes but anytime you have made real progress on a project save it. Just in case.

I use a vst called Crystal and for being a free plug in this synth is fairly deep. 3 voices with 6 LFOs each its own envelope. Cant beat it for being free and its a nice way to get an idea of which way to go.
