INSTINCT | A Living Organism of Drive, Dynamics and Tone.
It is a sonic monster 👾 that can create new worlds from the sound you feed it with. Varying from smooth analog warmth or dynamics processing to total destruction, aggressiveness and alienation. Re: Metronome being recorded unintentionally
Just to give a heads up, I got myself the PreSonus' Firestudio Project, and things are working smoothly... finally.
I'd like to give a heads up to people using Live on the Mac - take a closer look, before purchasing the FA-66 as your audio interface.

Re: Metronome being recorded unintentionally
@[mid] didn't get a chance to record what you asked for, but I'll try it later today hopefully. I tried the same deal with a friend's Mackie Onyx Satellite and apparently everything works fine. No metronome bleeding no iTunes (or other) music being recorded. I tried with a new FA-66 card, and got th...

Re: Metronome being recorded unintentionally
1) I'm trying to find another Fw audiocard other than FA-66. 2) 48bit on both. 3) Not sure, but I think so. I'll have to go check. But he's using Windows XP. Maybe it's only specific to core audio. 4) I'll try that and report back. Thanks again for not giving up on me :D I'm really attached to using...

Re: Metronome being recorded unintentionally
I outputed the channel to sends only and disabled them for the recording period. It still records both metronome and music but I *think* at lower lvl, could be just my idea though.

I'll try to find another card, and check. I'll try outputting to another channel too and see.
If it ain't too much trouble ask your friend please.
Weird issue though, 'cause as I posted before garage band doesn't record its metronome.

Heya, thanks for taking the time help me out here
The results are the same for 1) 2) 3) - same thing happens - metronome and music is being recorded.
What the heck is wrong? I tried with a new FA-66 from a friend and I get the same deal.

Re: Metronome being recorded unintentionally
FA-66 is connected to the MacBook Two jack ouputs from FA-66 go to an ULTRA-DI D120 (behringer), to get rid of the ground loop noise. Two XLR leave the DI and go to the TRUTH B2030A (behringer) monitors. Guitar is recorded by connecting a mono jack to the 2 input of FA-66, Hi-Z enabled (or not - do...

Metronome being recorded unintentionally
Live: 7.0.12 Sound Card: Edirol FA-66 (Firewire) The issue is as the title says, that the metronome is being recorded while I record audio - either guitar through jack, or with a mic). No idea how to resolve this, and it's really a buzzkiller, since hearing a metronome ticking in your mix is awful! ...

Ableton for Linux would be nice. My MacBook is out of order, so I'm stuck on my ubuntu desktop. I'm a paying ableton customer, and I wouldn't mind paying a bit more for Live on Linux desktop. Apparently someone tried running it through WINE, and got it: http://www.flickr.com/photos/aliceinwire/23688...

Opening Live Set from File Browser
OS: Windows XP + SP2 Live: 6.0.7 When I click to open a live set, Live6, closes unexpectedly, though, no crash log is created for this. If I browse from the windows explorer, and choose to open the live set from there - everything works fine. This happens when Processor Scheduling is set to "Ba...
