Aegis, can you post one "real" picture of it?
And one question: how do you set Live's "loop in and out" on a controller? it means that you can cut loops on the fly? I didn't know that could be done with midi assignment...

It's weird that there is no good commercial ableton control - even from Ableton's own maker, M-Audio. So weird.

For a metronome (usually when warping tracks) I have a single drum loop from a track 4 bars long and place it in its own channel called metronome. It's a lot easier when trying to determine if something is warped wrong and isn't on measure when you have a loop that has a definite beginning and end ...

I think that some form of on the fly sample replacement feature would be great - like, being able to define a grid - say 8down and 6across (my setup for live use) and then map a hotkey that would replace the contents of that grid with a "Live Group" - basically a on the fly reassignment of the grid ...

oh yeah, something else, a fairly comprehensive eq on each track, and tabable like the sends and stuff, whcih maybe you can toggle for where it goes in the chain, like before you record or after you record.

How comprehensive? There are 3 & 4 band eq's available that you can apply to each track ...
