Re: auto-playing more notes then i press?
this question isn't remotely related to ableton. that being said, here's the link to the manual: http://support.casio.com/pdf/008/ctk_571_01_e.pdf just quickly looking, it looks like maybe you have "auto accompainment" on or maybe some sort of lesson mode. you'll be very hard pressed to fi...

Re: How would you make chords sound like this?
agreed, this isn't sidechaining, it's just a long attack on a noise + tri wave env (or similar). I only took a quick listen but it seems like the gist of this can be recreated via: Use triangle waves Hi-passed white noise And what you thought was sidechaining COULD be sidechaining, but I'd place my ...

Re: Elektron Octatrack Review
Curious. I was so impressed by the MD UW I put an Octatrack on order, arrives tomorrow. I just like that Elektron sound, plus I got the time to learn new stuff. I'm kind of blown away daily, but the new shit I come up with on the MD. I'm excited for the Octatrack I think you're my doppelganger. I t...

Re: How to ise my iapd with Lemur and be on internet also ?
Yes you can be on the same connection of your router without problem. Launch the lemur editor on your computer and connect the ipad.(alt+c) There is nothing more. fabien Allrighty then thanx! I should note that when I use my router I get connection drops. It's probably router specific. I just make ...

Of course it is. I'll second this. I've owned many laptops and the toshiba satellite models are garbage.h3rtz wrote:Never going to buy a toshiba satellite no more. Good luck. (hope this is ok to post as well).
Vaio Z is at the top of my list but super expensive.

Re: Ideas on how to get APC above keyboard
I have my lauchpad under my keyboard, on a sliding ledge. Having said that it's not ideal as it pushes me back when I slide it out, gonna have to think of something better. here's the setup with two of those stands I linked previously.. https://fbcdn-sphotos-d-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/s720x72...

Re: Ideas on how to get APC above keyboard
Thanks for the reply. My only concern with that stand is my keyboard is considerably wider than my APC. The stand you posted doesn't look like its adjustable on the top level so I can setup the APC on top I'm browsing the other stand though http://www.amazon.com/On-Stage-LPT5000-Laptop-Computer-Sta...

Re: Machine Drum or Tempest...or ???
I don't have a tempest but I was in your situation a few months ago (ie. Temptest or Machinedrum UW). I ended up going Machinedrum UW. Of course I can't say what it would have been like with the tempest, but I'll be damned if the Machinedrum UW didn't shoot up to my favorite piece of gear in no time...

Re: Different controls have same midi note with behringer bcr
you have two problems. for the first one, simply change the midi channel the bcr2000 is sending/receiving on. for the second problem, you have a button set to instance (or whatever it's called). You can change how the button responds but you'll have to read the manual as I forget how to do it off th...

Re: MIDI cc# and stuff like that..
I don't follow.. if you're maping it then why do you need to know the CC#? You don't need to know that. Just open the midi map, select what you want to control, move the fader you want to use to control that parameter and repeat until you're finished.

Re: USB Soundcard!
Hey all, I have just ordered some M-Audio AV40's as Ableton has its hooks in me (and I'm a cheapskate) and would also like to order a soundcard to match the budget. £50 or there abouts would be perfect. I dont need more than one input, basically something to just improve sound quality and latency I...

Re: AXIOM PRO 25 -- F1+F4 does not equal F5 -- cannot SOLO track
the "dump" button is in the preferences tab > MIDI sync
It's to the right of the controller where you select Control Surface, Input, and Output (on top).
