How would I do the following?

If I've already rendered a song, how do I go back into the session view and transpose a audio clip (s) and then render the arrangement without having to redo the whole song?


I seriously need some help on this.

At 44.1 having to use 1024 buffer to stay clean, and have massive latency as a result.I'm using the most recient ASIO drivers from MOTU

Any suggestions to resolve it would be a big help

I couldn't get this thing to work properly. I spent a week trouble shooting with tech support from all sides, and was just about to reformat to fix what I thought was the problem (virtual IRQ in XP)


The problem was... the 410 is a serious pile of crap.

I exchanged it today for a MOTU Ultra Lite ...

you can switch to standard PC mode without reinstalling, but i do not think that you can switch back to ACPI. AFAIK, even if you manually set IRQ info in the bios, as long as XP is in ACPI mode, it will not pay attention to any of it, and share irq's as it sees fit

It is most likely a virtual IRQ issue . The only way to resolve it would be to reinstall Windows and diable ACPI on the install so you can manually change the IRQ assignments.

Thanks for the input. My computer has everything under the sun but a PCMIA slot (I would have done that right away to troubleshoot the device)

Live remembers all parameters, variants and sounds just fine if I regular save and reopen a session that isn’t self contained. When I SSC that same session, all (or most) of my clip parameters go out the window and I’m wondering why that is ...

Self contained seems to function in a manner that makes it impossible sometimes to share files without blowing up just about the whole song.

1. When saving self contained, it will magically forget tons of loop points, volume levels et al.

2. When an arrangement is in place, it goes grey and won't ...
