Is it possible to send the audio from one channel to the input of another channel, and then recording that signal? That way you would have the audio signal of your midi channel.
Hope that is possible, as it would make it alot easier for me

I just tried your tip, but it only cuts the length down, and doesn't transform it into an audio file. For example if im working on a midi clip, i want to convert that into an audio file in ableton (not one that i have to export, and then import it in afterwards ...

How to render a certain loop directly in Ableton
Hi guys
I have a track in ableton where i took a loop and put a lot of effects on it.
What i now want to do is to render this small loop to a audio file in ableton, so i can play around with in ableton and chop it up. I know i can export it from the file menu.
But It would be alot easier if i can ...
