Re: Option for Alt Gr = Ctrl+Alt
thanks - i tried that with [alt gr] shortcuts and it went really weird and Windows went a bit weird, too, unusable. I tried it with the single keys mapped to [ctrl]+[alt] and it works really well, up to a point. Keyboard shortcuts needs to be deactivated when not using Live or even when renaming tra...

Option for Alt Gr = Ctrl+Alt
Please can we have the option for [Alt Gr] as alternative for [Ctrl Alt] reinstated. Having to press three keys now is mostly impossible with one hand, or at least very uncomfortable. I understand some languages need [Alt Gr] for certain characters, but it would be nice to have the option back as it...

Re: Unresponsive dialogs in Live 10.0.2
I'm finding a lag in everything ,not just dialogues sometimes a new track created by a VSTi drop can take a couple of minutes to appear, although the VSTi interface has appeared. restarted Live and timed it at 90 seconds before I could click on anything at all Loaded last project (3 instruments, 4 a...

Re: Epoch's Sound Diary (52 Tracks in a year)
just gave 'Helion' a listen, I liked the syncopations, leaving the first beat 'empty' really sets up an interesting groove. nice meaty sounds too. good work

Re: Epoch's Sound Diary (52 Tracks in a year)
that'd a good idea, and quite brave in a way. I'm in the middle of trying something similar myself, except I'm trying to write a song every day (so far 24 songs in the past 28 days) except I've run out of soundcloud space so I'm uploading them to youtube which has no limits. The quality is variable,...

Re: Crackling noise in Live?
I've had similar problems lately, and find either... .my Emu soundcard is set to get sync from my Aphex pre over co-ax when the pre-amp isn't turned on, remedy is switch sync back to internal .turn the unused inputs off, or turn all inputs off and back on again. neither explains why I get crackles, ...

now that would be really really useful - play a guitar solo and have it doubled by a synth? I have to wait 3 months for this?!! *sad face*crumhorn wrote:I'm really hoping that the audio to midi tools support pitch bend for notes that slide between pitches or to replicate guitar string bends, etc.

... and if that 'turn guitar chords into midi' works as well as it seems to on the video, I'll probably pass out through all the excitement!
what happens if you feed it some found sound - traffic noise, for example - and tell it to make a tune out of that? i think this could be huge fun
