Nice. Seems like London is the only place in the world that doesn't have a working user group!! :?

Any more news on meeting up? A few of us got together a couple of times a year or so ago. The main problem we had was finding a place really. It was good to meet up with other people tho and share ideas, etc. I've not used Live much since then so it would be cool to get into it again.

Think we kinda hit a bit of a blank with the venue. The last get together at Walkabout at Putney was pretty cool but Cashman reckoned we couldn't book it again for some reason.

Anyone have any ideas for somewhere we could meet up??

Cheers guys. Yeah I guess if you do the same to all tunes then it shouldn't really matter. I've found though that if you're not spot on it can sound terrible! Also its sometimes difficult to locate the exact start of the kick waveform, even when zooming right in, if there's any other sounds going on...

Another warping question

I've just started getting some tunes warped - I think I've got it more or less sorted although I one problem. Most of the tunes are dance tracks - i.e. with a kick drum throughout. Where on the kick drum waveform do you put the first marker???? Right at the start where it starts ramping up or at the...

Was a good evening! Next month sounds good - will give me a chance to get to grips with warping and side-chain compressing of ice cream van chimes :D

Great to meet up with you guys last night!! It would be good to playabout with a projector and some sounds next time. The small insights from Spiderprod were wicked - was good to find someone who had used Live right from version 1 and used it professionally. I'd better try and get a tune or two sort...

My plan is; turn up, drink beer, talk techy muso bollocks, drink beer, fiddle with sound system, drink beer, listen to other people's music, drink... etc (I suspect this goes for most of those who're coming) Sounds like a top plan to me! As I've mentioned before - I prob won't be able to contribute...

PLB - Yeah that was happening to me...

As long as your outputs 1/2 and 3/4 are set up properly though, then you can just set up the cue and masters as buzby said and it should be fine.

Just gotta get more clued up with warping and triggering now.. :? ..
