Dreamy "ooooh" type sounds similar to Flying Lotus

Hi! I'm trying to create a dreamy "ooooh" type sound in Ableton similar to those you often hear in the background of Flying Lotus' tracks, e.g.: 1. Flying Lotus - Quarantine (2019): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-08OltIIma0 2. Flying Lotus - Camel (2008): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t6SXXx1Fu_...

Taking MIDI effects and Arpeggiator to the next level

Been playing around with Arpeggiator on chords lately, and while it's a lot of fun, it gets a bit boring after a while as the notes just go up and down in the same pattern. Is there a way to switch things up a little, e.g. playing the upper and lower parts of the chords non-arpeggiated at a differen...

Re: Any way to re-number the scenes ?

Why can't the scenes just do this themselves automatically??

Re: Native 32-bit VST support (when Live goes 64-bit only)

Thanks for your support man, and I totally agree, there are waaaaay too many 32-bit gems out there that will never be updated to 64-bit for a variety of reasons.... and I will never EVER switch to a DAW that does not support them. So if that means I'll have to use Live 9 for the rest of my life so b...

Re: How to make glide transitions with operator?

Anybody got an adg they could share? I've been struggling to make a bass like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFAMlBBJzCg using Ableton Operator and no samples. So far all I've done is set wave to sine 8 and voice to 1.

Making gliding 808 bass in Operator

I feel silly asking such a basic question but here goes: I'm trying to make that gliding/sliding 808 bass, but all the tutorials I've come across use samples: How to make your 808's Glide/Slide in Ableton Live 9.6 using Sampler: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PEhq15npvBw This one is not in Ableton ...

Re: Mix without master track, if so how?

Cool, so basically I just give him/her one wet and one dry mixdown? In other words the mastering engineer's only task is to properly EQ and adjust the loudness of the wet mixdown? I thought he/she would have to fine-tune each track individually and then again as a whole, which would be easily done d...

+1

Maybe topic title should have read: "Live Pack w/ external files using Drum Rack as .adg instead of .als"

Re: Need Helps for Midi problem (Advanced) 2017

Hi,

Maybe I'm reading this wrong, but can't you just duplicate the tracks and remove the notes you don't need from each one?

Alternatively upload your .als somewhere so we can have a look!

Re: Warping / loop creation

Hi tallulahgoodtimes,

From what I hear Session View is always preferred. How about just using Simpler? It recently started supporting warp mode. Alternatively combine it with Drum Rack for a more MPC-like experience.

We have been struggling to get this feature for years.

Mix without master track, if so how?

Hi, Should I mix without using the master track so that it can be sent to mastering more easily, if so how do I do it? I can't load the same plugins on all the individual tracks. Even if I do, I won't get the same unifying sound or glue as I would had I put the stuff on master. Nor will send/return ...
