Is MIDI portamento in Live still impossible?
From what I understand not everything speaks portamento, but shouldn't it be possible for Ableton to make a portamento MIDI effect?
My MIDI sounds so much better when using the portamento pedal on my Yamaha Clavinova

Re: That Clicking sound!!
Anybody know what's actually going on here? I'm getting this problem with all my synths, especially when I have Ableton's Arpeggiator behind them.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Dreamy "ooooh" type sounds similar to Flying Lotus
Hi!
I'm trying to create a dreamy "ooooh" type sound in Ableton similar to those you often hear in the background of Flying Lotus' tracks, e.g.:
1. Flying Lotus - Quarantine (2019): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-08OltIIma0
2. Flying Lotus - Camel (2008): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v ...

Taking MIDI effects and Arpeggiator to the next level
Been playing around with Arpeggiator on chords lately, and while it's a lot of fun, it gets a bit boring after a while as the notes just go up and down in the same pattern.

Why can't the scenes just do this themselves automatically??

Re: Native 32-bit VST support (when Live goes 64-bit only)
Thanks for your support man, and I totally agree, there are waaaaay too many 32-bit gems out there that will never be updated to 64-bit for a variety of reasons.... and I will never EVER switch to a DAW that does not support them. So if that means I'll have to use Live 9 for the rest of my life so ...

Re: How to make glide transitions with operator?
Anybody got an adg they could share? I've been struggling to make a bass like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFAMlBBJzCg using Ableton Operator and no samples. So far all I've done is set wave to sine 8 and voice to 1.

Making gliding 808 bass in Operator
I feel silly asking such a basic question but here goes:
I'm trying to make that gliding/sliding 808 bass, but all the tutorials I've come across use samples:

Re: Mix without master track, if so how?
Cool, so basically I just give him/her one wet and one dry mixdown? In other words the mastering engineer's only task is to properly EQ and adjust the loudness of the wet mixdown?
I thought he/she would have to fine-tune each track individually and then again as a whole, which would be easily done ...
