Re: ALL serial numbers have been removed from my Ableton account
Also, the buyer is perfectly within their rights to keep whatever has been given to them. It's Ableton's mistake. So, if the buyer refuses to surrender the licenses that Ableton took from me, what am I supposed to do? Just shrug off the money I lost.

Re: ALL serial numbers have been removed from my Ableton account
Well, I have contacted support. No replies.
Which is odd, as they responded to my request to transfer the Live 9 serial within 5 minutes. Contacted them a few minutes later about their mistake......silence.

ALL serial numbers have been removed from my Ableton account
Hopefully, somebody from Ableton will see this, as they're certainly ignoring my support emails. I sold my Live 9 Standard license for a low price, with the intention of selling my Live packs and instruments separately. However, Ableton have transferred the ownership of all of the extras to the pers...

To be fair to the artists, that's because this is basically all they ask them to do.cotdagoo wrote:there's usually very little actual advice apart from 'what i used' and 'what i did here'.

Re: Best ways of reducing CPU load
Oddly, I found the CPU usage very efficient when beta testing. Suddenly, I've noticed it tends to become extremely high even in relatively minimal projects. This, regardless of buffer settings or, indeed how many instances of M4L devices I'm using. This is on a 2012 MBP Retina (8GB RAM, OS X 10.8.3)...

Re: Live Suite 8.4 final released
Are there any release notes for 8.4? Is it merely 64-bit support that's been added so there's not much need?

Re: Live 8 to Live 9 or Suite 9 upgrade prices
I have Live 8 Standard and I don't get that "March 12th" header.
Ableton support aren't replying to my emails about upgrading. Possibly trying to drag it out knowing I'll just have to push the "Upgrade to 8 Suite" button before the 5th :/

Re: waves plugins not opening correctly
I've found that this happens with Waves plug-ins and Live when using Audio Units. Very frustrating, as I had to return to a lot of older projects and replace all those instances with VSTs.
Not even sure that this could be the cause of your issue but thought I'd mention it.

Re: Maschine with a useless serial / god damn this is annoying
I've owned Maschine twice and both had the standalone and VST on the DVD...you sure that disc isn't a bootleg?
Have you tried contacting NI about the serial number? They were helpful when my registration was mistakenly marked as an NFR license.

Purchased. Downloading / trying out the 10GB or so of extra sounds...I'm guessing some of them'll be rubbish, but the OpenAIR impulse responses sound great so far.

Re: Presonus Studio One v2 - 50% Off - Today only
Apparently, version 2.5 will be released today sometime. 100+ added features (including much improved routing) and at no extra charge. I have to agree, the native effects (and metering) are superb. I like Logic's but it's just become so slow and bug-ridden I can no longer be bothered with it. Made ...

You don't gain much. Collision is pretty good though. Its not just a better than average xylophone emulator.. think of it more like a better tension+electric. Ah, thanks....I thought as much. I never use Tension or Electric, so Collision would be useless to me. I may just pay the €164, assuming it ...

Re: Live 9 Pricing
Turns out I don't own Suite after all (even though the splash screen says so).... So, I have already purchased Live 8 (upgraded from Suite 7), Operator, Sampler, Tension, Electric, Electronik Drums, Analog, Retro Synths, Drum Machines & Max for Live. My upgrade to Suite 8 is currently priced at ...
