thanks for all your replies. Ended up settling for seperate interfaces for the studio and perfomrnace rigs. Studio: Apogee Rosetta 800 with X-FireWire card. Nothing but parise for this unit. Can't seem to find a way to bounce audio back to a movie. Is this feature present?

Any known fixes for these bugs? 1) When using Live 4 in Rewire mode (slaved to Pro Tools 6.1) Live does not lock to my Pro Tools session's sample rate. i.e. if my pro tools session is 48k, Live opens at 44k and stays that way. You would do that in your audio preferences. there, you can select channels for your cue (prelisten) bus.

Red Sound Voyager 1
I have been using this peice to sync up to turntables. Takes some getting used to but works very well. Also, you really have to be neurotic about placing warp markers for it to work well.
