***UPDATE***
Got my APC40 back today.
Akai was kind enough to return it even more broken than when I sent it off for repair.
What a fucking joke.

It's times like this that justify my belief that everyone should own a confetti cannon.

I believe that if, while holding the nudge button down, you hit the tap tempo button then release nudge it should lock your tempo.

Anyone have experience with akai support
So I'm sending my APC40 in for repairs.
Has anyone else dealt with AKAI for warranty covered work? Care to share your experience?
Will I get it back before Live 9 is released??

Re: Pitch Bend Modulation Question
Thank you again for taking the time to write such a thorough reply. It all made sense, well except for some of the technical stuff in the MIDI spec link but I'll get there. You've been immensely helpful.

Re: Automatically transferring warp sections to clips
Have you tried the 'slice to MIDI' function. You'd probably have to drag the slices back into an audio track and consolidate them, but I think it may work.

Re: Pitch Bend Modulation Question
Thanks for the reply Warrior Bob. You've confirmed my assumption, and were absolutely correct. I still find it odd that adding a breakpoint is necessary, but that does the trick. I guess it's something to do with the whole "relative value" of clip envelopes, of which I've still not reached...

And as for "neutral": :| - this one looks SAD, not neutral. I agree, to me that one looks like it belongs in an advertisement for anti-depressants. And :? might have just sharted, I'm not sure. If it was up to me I'd dump all the smilies and just use http://t3.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd...

Re: Excluding triplet values from Arpeggiator?
The only solution I know of would be a midi effect rack with multiple arpeggiators, each set to a specific rate. Then using the chain selector to scroll through the different rates.

Pitch Bend Modulation Question
Ok, here's the scenario. I've got a MIDI clip playing with the pitch bend parameter modulated to pitch the clip down 12 semitones over 4 bars. Now I decide to launch a different clip on the same track half way through the first clips playback. This new clip with no modulations is now stuck playing a...
