Thanks for the responses everyone. It seems now that M4L or editing some unknown file would be my only options. M4L intimidates me so maybe this will be a good way to get into learning it. If I come up with a useful device I'll post it.

Hi....I'm not happy with the default instant mapping of some of ableton's devices such as analog and operator. I want to configure the instant mapping for my own needs. I would simply group to a rack and save but I would need more than the 8 macro knobs that are provided. Does anybody know a solutio...
