Try with different editor! Some editors tend to corect the sample once you load them.

That won't work for me but you can try (though I don't know why). I simply assign key to the clip.

If you assigned one of the letters - qwer... asdf... and didn't turn off comp keyboard, it won't work. If you need comp keyboard on... assign numbers to clip launch.
