Push MIDI clip +/- 1 octave jump function

There is one thing that has been driving me mad about Push and it is this:

If I am editing MIDI notes using the computer (not Push), I can select all of the notes and then press shift+up or down arrow and it will transpose the notes up or down an entire octave immediately. Because I'm mainly ...

Loop Current Region for multiple clips

I would like to request that it be possible to apply the command "loop current region" to multiple clips simultaneously. Please see this video for further clarification:

Re: THE Rack List. (What can you do with Racks?)

Hey all - so I'm looking for a way to use one knob to control two filters, one low pass, one high pass:

with the knob at the 0 point, the low pass filter is completely closed, and the hi pass is completely open. At the middle mark (64) the low pass is completely open and the hi pass is completely ...

Audio Effect Rack - chain selects as pre-fade possible?

Hey there - so I'm designing a delay effects rack as a send to a return track, which contains 4 delays with different delay time settings etc, and have mapped a midi cc knob to sweep through the chain selector to select different delays... standard. I have mapped another cc from a pressure pad ...

Re: Audio Effect Rack chain mixing question

Nice one! In actual fact you can put an audio effect rack in each chain so I don't need to create 8 separate audio channels for this, but your suggestion definitely helped. Thanks.

Audio Effect Rack chain mixing question

Hi peeps,

I am trying to set up a send/return effect whereby there's multiple instances of Beat Repeat spread each (in this instance, 8) chain in one Audio Effect Rack in a return channel. I want to set up differing settings on each Beat Repeat, but when I send from the track to this return effect ...

Re: Virus Control midi map

i checked out your myspace - looks like you're using a Virus Snow... so am I.

as far as I can see it is only possible to assign midi control to softknobs 1, 2 and 3, cutoff and resonance, for patches 1 through 4.... which is annoying.... so basically you'll have to design some useful modulations ...

is it possible to 'hold' midi cc values using sustain pedal?

right this is I think an unusual problem - I'll try to be concise in explaining it.

I'm using the pressure pads on my Axiom to send midi cc instead of note on/off info. when i push down, it sends from (whichever channel, depends on which pad I press) to an fx 'buffer' channel with no output. when I ...

Re: New track ... need comments.. suggestions...

yeah man its good. like the general vibe ad a strong thread of musicality going on.

so you want suggestions... well this depends on your stylistic urges but listening to it I thought the pads or some of the other high frequency sounds would sound quite cool if they pumped in and out (just a little ...

Re: Stuff in Live you wish you figured out a long time ago

this is such a gragantuan thread this may have been posted already but

command+alt+L = hide/show clip/track view in the bottom of the screen
command+alt+B = hide/show browser

great when youve got a big project and need as much screen real estate as you can get... easily maximise your viewable area ...
