Re: Live 10.03 lagging like hell - SOLVED!!
This solved my issues with 10.1 on my 2013 MacBook Pro. Not just limited to PC apparently!

Re: Audible clicks in Live 8
i completely agree. messing with your cpu's clock speed just to coax an app to work the way it should? no thanks. at least that's what the coolbook solution seems to be doing. then again, it seems to be laptop-focused, where cpu throttling could be happening due to battery management or somesuch. i ...

Re: Audible clicks in Live 8
well to hell with it, i'll chime in here and say "me too" with the clicks. no, i'm not using only ableton plug-ins, but i'm also not using obscure/unknown plug-ins i got from inside of a serial box either. i get lots of lovely clicks and pops and such at 60% cpu (that is if ableton's cpu m...

Re: live 8.0.4 crash on render
cdog: glad i'm not the only one, but at the same time sorry to hear you're plagued with the same issue. thanks for the confirmation. outershpongolia: thanks for the suggestion. true, there's always the option to record to a standard track, but it's not always desirable, especially if there's a lot g...

Re: live 8.0.4 crash on render
just a bit more information - this issue seems to only be happening under mac OS 10.4. apparently there are no problems rendering in OS 10.5. can anyone else confirm or deny?

live 8.0.4 crash on render
hi, been using live 8.0.4 recently to re-inject some inspiration into the workflow. however, i'm running into a pretty consistent bug when i try to render. it seems that the first time i render, everything works fine. then, if i try to render a second time, it hangs/crashes (beachball). the sad thin...

5.0.1 Warping Issues
2 issues with the clip warping algorithms that i have found with 5.0.1: 1.) Texture: when using a 'grain size' value of 0 and a 'flux' value of 100, when pitching the clip, the clip plays for 1 second, and then drops out, displaying an orange (D) in the hard disk drop-out indicator at the top right ...

up/down arrows for tempo increment/decrement
It would be great to have a simple and accurate way to increment/decrement the tempo by 1 bpm at a time. Espcecially, in a live performance environment, where accuracy is key, and dragging with the mouse a bit too precarious, this would be an assest. Perhaps it could take the form of small up/down a...

Pre/post loop implementation
One small thing I've found that could make a huge difference with this program is the inclusion of a more conventional looping system. What I mean is to allow the starting point to exist outside of the clip's loop. This would allow for a smoother integration of rendered clips that have spatial effec...

wow... look what i started.
hey everyone. thanks for the feedback. i have to admit, i didn't exactly intend to start a war, mind you i have noticed in the past how worked up people can get over their computers... myself included. so, pcs are faster. yeah, i kind of figured that. however, if there is indeed truth to this 2ghz p...

apple g4 vs. pentium 4? (i know, redundant, but pertinent)
hey everyone, i realize this has probably been asked a million times before, so i apologize pre-emptively. but, i'm switching from pc to mac in the next couple of months and was wondering how much of a performance difference i would be looking at between a p4 and a g4 processor. (let's say a g4 1ghz...
