Re: Will i lose my saved presets(operator) if i re-install live?

You can easily locate any preset in your system folder by right-cli...

Re: Maschine users - tell me about your workflow?
After v1.5, using Maschine in VST mode allows you to record Maschine events into Live. In many ways, this is significantly better than using Maschine in MIDI mode, since it instantly gives you the enhanced features of the VST (i.e. poly-pressure, aftertouch, note repeat, swing, etc,) but with the be...

Re: What file format are people using for their Live set tracks?
Uncompressed audio is best if you can find your songs in wav/aif format to begin with, otherwise there's no need to convert an mp3 into an uncompressed format. The downside is the amount of space uncompressed audio uses over mp3, m4a, wma, etc. - but with the available capacity of today's hard drive...

Re: Padded Bag - Info
The Ableton Padded Bag is great for casual use - but it is not designed as a dedicated "work bag," as in, to comfortably haul around gear and records. Ableton partnered with a company called Airbag Craftworks to release this bag: http://www.ableton.com/nerdbag It was a limited production, ...
