Re: Plugin Delay on Freeze and Flatten
in the multiplier video, he noticed that it affected his transients. so without documentation on the subject, we are supposed to just know that their is this issue. so the conclusion is, deal with it because everyone has gotten used to it.

Re: Plugin Delay on Freeze and Flatten
apparently it is not compensated with PDC when frozen. It is supposed to be compensated for on playback and export. However, when you want to freeze/flatten and treat the file as an audio file to manipulate, there is a delay. I have been going back through some tracks i did in the past and noticed i...

Plugin Delay on Freeze and Flatten
I just came across this video by Multiplier where he proves that Freeze and Flatten induces latency that is visible on the track. I have recreated this in my computer as well. Has anyone been also able to replicate it? If so, this is a major issue that needs to be solved.

Question for the DJs...
I usually DJ with Serato but slowly am warming up to the idea of DJing with Live. Its just kinda hard to wrap my head around just Djing with a controller and Live after being so comfortable with the security blanket of 2 decks. My question is more of a setup question. I have an APC40 that I use for ...

Deleting Clips with APC40
How great would it be, if you wanted to delete a clip, you just hold down the APC button for that clip for maybe 3 seconds? Seems pretty easy to implement
In session view, undo doesn't undo the last recording ie the clip is still there. That is why i need this feature. Less mousing the better.

Re: midi mapping templates
bummer. i wish live would remember that. the only workaround i have found is putting each individual VST into an effect or instrument rack. If you don't have too many plugs to do it with, its not bad, but if you are have too many it gets messy.

Re: Production Template.... what's in yours?
i would agree about the slow low times had i used some CPU intensive plugs. I actually use my template as an enhancement to Live's functionality. I am very aware of the cookie cutter fear of making music so that is why i have all tracks empty. It basically is an enhanced canvas that suits my workflo...

Re: APC40 users... how keyboard/mouse free are you?
I can see how a hybrid is probably the only way to go. i just like to make my beats standing up and using a mouse is not conducive to head knockin' if you know what i mean.

Re: Any suggestions for Field Recorders?
?1 for the Olympus. I also own a LS-10 and love it. Really simple menu system. Fast. And the no 1 thing i love about it- the battery life. We are talking weeks not days. My friend has a Zoom and it is DIESEL but he is constantly complaining about battery life. It is an extremely underrated feature w...

APC40 users... how keyboard/mouse free are you?
Has the APC40 made you completely mouse free? Not here sadly. There are some missing features from keeping me from doing this... no undo, no sample scrolling/loading (imagine you could scroll and then load a sample into simpler with the nudge buttons). Another great idea would be, if you wanted to d...

Production Template.... what's in yours?
It seems that I am constantly refining my template to allow for the quickest workflow. I never have preloaded VSTi because I am afraid all my production will become lazy however i do have many empty simplers loaded. My current template looks like this: Track 1-8 drum tracks- Instrument rack preset w...

Re: Editing Audio in Session View
I would even accept a 3rd party solution as i have adobe audition as well. PLEASE hit ctrl+, to fget the preferences up, go to files and folders, setup audition as your sample editor. select your clip, hit edit. voila, third party editor. Does this automatically update the clip in Live? Can I set A...

+ One location for analysis files , for samples that are not in a project folder, please. Now external sample library is full of .asd files... Please do this... asd files are so messy. OR just be like Serato and attach them to the mp3. Other feature requests: 1. Let me record my automation in sessi...
