my vsts are Komplete 7, Dcam Synth Squad, and Sylenth. all of them are windows 7 compatible

Ive sent like a dozen logs to ableton.. squat.

So i ran DPC as i was loading a file in ableton.... the file load completely HUNG the program untill i told DPC to 'stop'.

sigh.

Ill try these things and get back...

my sound card is an Maudio Audiophile. ableton 7 ran like a champ for HOURS on end on my xp system, same card.

its not a bsod. Ableton locks up... it seems to happen under heavy processing loads that spike, but i have an i7, id think ableton and NI would be robust enough to handle a single instance of massive running a Preset. Which leads me to believe it is the way that Ableton handles audio in a 64 bit env...

still didnt fix it

im gonna try the ASIO4ALL right now. used to use that on my last rig, completely forgot about that.
