Won't install
I tried on a different computer and it did download. I copied it via USB disc and tried to install and now I get: Failed reading Live Pack file (This Live Pack is corrupt. There was an error when seeking the file ...) I can try copying it again, but downloading 2.2GB again is a lot. Any ideas for ch...

Did anyone else have any trouble downloading? I have clicked on the link about 6 times over the last few days and I always get the following error: ERROR The requested URL could not be retrieved While trying to process the request: GET /download/76316126c8a6cfe06deb1eba24ad3a89/puremagnetikretrosynt...

Re: Custom arrangement (format) without clicking during song?
I'm starting to think this question will not get answered...
I thought there might be a way I could add a clip to a track that had an action on it that jumped to a specific marker/locator, but I'm not sure that can be done in the arrange view or if it can, how to do it.

Custom arrangement (format) without clicking during song?
Hi folks, I am using multi-track backing track songs in the Arrange view that have flags for chorus, verse, bridge, etc. Sometimes we decide in advance to a do the song where we skip a chorus or bridge or something, so we click on the locator flag at the right time and it works nicely. What I would ...

Re: Sequential songs without loading new file?
Hi (smartest) guys, Thank you so much for the time you've put into answering. We've only been using Live at church for a few weeks - everyone is volunteer and no one really wants to become a Live expert. So far, it's been pretty good except for two things: - how long it takes to change (load new) so...

Sequential songs without loading new file?
Hi folks, I've been looking for this for a while. There are number of threads, none of which have a solution. This one http://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?p=869429#p869429 suggests it's not possible, but I wanted to check... We have separate .als song files for each song we do at church, each wit...

Re: Simple sound-changing for playing keyboard live?
OK, so I now have the bottom buttons on the nanoKontrol setting the track to arm and the top ones selecting the track. I've searched and it looks like there's no way to have a "arm on select" option (as is possible in Apple Logic) without some scripting. I might look into that later. What ...

Can I access all/more controls for instruments (presets)?
Hi there. I would like to know if it's possible to get any more controls for instrument presets. E.g. I load up an instrument preset like "Keys-Old School MK I" and I get 8 macros (as far as I know), but nothing else and I can't see a way to get more. It's got Attack & Release controls...

Re: Simple sound-changing for playing keyboard live?
Thanks for the replies. I've set up a few instruments and set the buttons on my nanoKontrol to arm them and this seems to be working great. The rack for layered sounds is fine. I can't see a need for anything more complicated (chains) just yet - perhaps I'll run into issues later and need something ...

Re: Simple sound-changing for playing keyboard live?
Thanks for the tip about Instrument racks. I hadn't seen that before. It took me a while to work out where to drag and stuff, but that looks ideal. So, I'll set up an instrument rack for each song 'patch' that I want to use, name them appropriately, then when we want to switch sounds between or duri...
