so, besides the usual "i got the fastest machine on earth and it's a ..."-rubbish (type in whatever you want, i really don't care): DID anybody run live on a G5 allready?

failing that, go to www.plogue.com and download bidule beta 65001test and record into live - recording into live is one the best way, it gives you so much flexibility and is so easy


i like plogue, but not for reaktor. i don't see why i should plug a modular system with excellent sequencing ...

i don't know what kind of sample you are using. if your kick is just a one shot sample*, i've two suggestions:

(1) if there's a little bit silence at the end of your sample (you can add this in an audio editor) use the warp markers and stretch your silence as long as needed (1/16, 1/8, whatever ...

great news, but which version of live do you use?? reaktor 4.03 is not supposed to work in live 2, because it doesn't have mach-o support and as far as i know they are still struggling with implementation in live 3beta.

I'm much happier that Ableton are focusing Live on what it's good at, and not adding in half-arsed features that other software does so much better.

I think Ableton should play Live to its strengths, and that's what they're doing with Live 3.

Maybe I need to disinstall 4.03..

as i said, as far as i know, for r4 vst in live you'll need version 4.02, so maybe you should (a lot of trouble though, in case you have to go through the whole unlocking process again...)
