I'm using the new clip automation in live 9 and something that's really annoying is that when a clip loops it basically turns session record off until you give it input again. Now I know it isn't actually turning off the record button but it may as well be.

So if I want the ability to bypass automation, then I'm using the wrong host? This seems like such a simple feature, and for a program designed for live use it seems almost essential to me.

Is there anyway to mute automations? This is what I was originaly trying to do.

If i change a value while its automating the automatin LED goes off and it no longer plays it. How do I reactivate automation?
