I think the best thing to do when you want to uninstall something is to locate the creation date & time of the app. Then you just have to make a search by date & time (and visibility normal & hidden files) & move all the files concerned to the trash. In your case, the prefs file is a...

About the freeze on the Powerbook with many cc

It's the same for me on my Powerbook 867.

It is 30 or 40% on the CPU control but if you load the activity monitor app (in the utility folder) you can check that the processor is over.

I agree.

Also, if it's for drums or percussions, try in mono for a better dynamic.

Re: how come i DONT get latency with my UAD1 card !? its great

i always get latency in logic and have to use delay compensators. i dont get latcny when i use UAD in live... why? am i the only one, cause i seem to remember people getting latency?[/quote] Are you on Logic Express or Pro? Because if you're on Logic Express, you don't have the plugin "delay co...

Has anyone tried/heard about the Firewire Powercore? This is the only option for many of us because of our laptop setups.

The Powercore firewire works fine on mac laptops with the last OS (1.9) released 2 weeks ago. They finally make something new for Live. Better audio performance.

Hi

check the Event TR5E actif. Very good for this price.

Try to buy active monitors instead of passive to get a better fidelity.

Re: Tc powercore firewire

I use Powercore firewire with Live. It's ok but if you compare with Logic you don't have the same performances. In a normal way, each plug take 15-20% CPU with Live on a PB800 with Motu 828. You can have more performances but you feel the latency (in the plugz chaining particularly) if you adjust th...

Are they really stable enough, low latency enough, glitch, static and pop free to perform for 3 hours a night in front of audiiences with variable and changing musical content, with lots of Live tracks (9-12) and effects? I know they can work together well in the studio and on paper, but is anyone ...
