Nonetheless it's also well-built and seems quite sturdy. The fact that you can assign each and every knob on it via midi is useful too outside Korg's...

No worries, It's already available for Intel-Macs http://www.ableton.com/index/upgrade/intel-mac I don't own a mac yet but I may make the switch soon. So I've been reading a lot of stuff about them and they look really really cool. The shared graphic card was a concern for me but I've seen a benchma...

that's pretty impressive, where is it 159? Playback in France sells it 156E with 2 years warranty and free shipping for the UK. It's a very good price since thomann in Germany retails it at 198E and they 'usually' have good prices. I bought mine from Playback as well as a Mbox a while ago, they're ...

For €159 you can currently get Korg Legacy Collection a package of synths : MS-20, Polysix, Wavestation and Library Cell which allows for creating pads using both MS20 and Polysix at the same time. It also comes with a midi controller replica of the original MS-20 which is very usefull, especially s...

I play guitar too and I use the Impulse thingie to make beats for my tracks. Don't forget you can load your own samples into its 8 slots, you can also tweak the sound of the samples in an audio editor or in impulse itself, or anywhere really before loading them. If 8 slots seem not enough just load ...

Just digging this one out to mention the Mobius VST plugin which is an (incomplete) emulation of the hardware Echoplex looping device. I just found out about it a few days ago and haven't really tested it yet but it has plenty of functions and allows Overdub etc in real time. The best thing is that ...

I ordered one earlier this week, it's not yet here. Basically I want 3 things from it : 1/ Make the the creative/recording process more user friendly for me. Since I play guitar it'll be much more comfortable being able to remorely start Live etc 2/ Once I have a song more or less defined, being abl...
