I Had the same problem with my macbook with 512mb 1.83Ghz
i took the guy aboves advice and shelled out for 2GB memory, overkill i know but now, no problems at all. i didnt even realise you can upgrade the memory, its easy to do as well!!!

Not recognising Trigger Finger
I have a white Macbook 1.83Ghz, 512MB (soon to be upgraded to 2GB 8) )and a fresh out of the box trigger finger.
Plugged it in the USB and the LED's came on. Tried to set it up in preferences, selected Trigger Finger and nothing else happens, i can't select the input and output.
Tried the Midi ...

Folks,
Just started using Ableton 6.0 for Dj'ing. Whilst practicing i'm getting random cut outs lasting half a second or so. Its usually when i trigger new clips. I have a new duel core MacBook and expected it to be able to run fine on this?
I've quit all other programs and it still happens when ...
