make maps of your favourite tracks in arrange with clips that have nothing in. Use a clip for each sound / easily grouped sounds. Hmm, would you be able to use the LP in conjunction with Maschine, like does Maschine operate within Live so you can trigger clips?

There are lots of tutorials on youtube that give good insight, and even some of Ableton's videos. Start with that and branch off on your own from there.

Just starting to grasp Ableton and picked up an Oxygen v3 49 key midi keyboard a month ago, which I think is very good value for the money regarding the faders, knobs and sequencer/mixer track control. This will be my first piece of Hardware ever, been thinking about getting either a APC40 or a Midi Keyboard with knobs and faders and such, what do you guys think? For midi keyboards I was leaning towards M - Audio Axioms (2nd Gen) or Oxygen, but I don't know if these are compatable with Windows 7....
