Re: Entering values numerically

Oh, as easy as that?

I was trying all kind of Alt-Ctrl-Shift-Double weird clicks to try entering a 'numerical' mode hahah.

Ok thanks alot, will give it a try as soon I have the chance.

Entering values numerically

Hello! Strangely, no idea how to do that. I saw a video demonstrating a Max For Live device and the guy entered a value numerically with his keyboard in the box for changing the value. For example, how can you enter a numerical value for the Gain with EQ Height or any other values that can be change...

Re: Grain Scanner from Amazing Noises

Thanks Maurizio! Exellent, exellent video. Very complete tour. Actually, you can say thanks the guy who did it cause it made me buy it! Just got it. I agree with the people here you posted before, so far from what I've tried it is far superior to the (already) good Henke's Granulator. The Layers for...

Re: Grain Scanner from Amazing Noises

Thank you pottering for the quick and clear reply. Appreciated! It is true that lots of granular synth often sound bad and need alot and alot of time and effort to make them sound good. Effect section indeed seems rather simple. I wonder if they'll add more in the future as updates. One thing I wish...

Grain Scanner from Amazing Noises

Hey folks Anyone got this? https://www.ableton.com/en/packs/grain-scanner-amazing-noises/ I love Amazing Noises Max For Live devices, they seem to always think outside the box with pretty original, top quality devices. Never been disappointed by their devices so far. Unfortunately there's not much i...

Re: Jagged breakpoint envelopes when recording automation

Ok update, if anyone cares : I’ve been in touch with Ableton support directly and this is a normal behavior, when recording automation the breakpoint envelopes get recorded with jagged square curves, there’s no way to fix that or record them in a smooth way. I find this quite fascinating to tell you...

Re: Jagged breakpoint envelopes when recording automation

Thanks wearemindflux! Will give that a try.

Any way to record automation and have the breakpoint envelopes smooth right away and not automatically square/linear? Or I have to smooth them out afterward each times I automate something?

Jagged breakpoint envelopes when recording automation

Hi folks! I can't find a way to have smooth curvy breakpoint envelopes when recording automation of a parameter, the curves recorded are always very square and jagged. Re: Katy Perry Mixer - "Ableton sounded terrible" (SoundonSound)

All these 11 pages still don't make sense, it's pretty surreal. After 11 pages, we're still not able to H E A R one single exemple of those supposed crazy badly muddy differences some people are taking about. All we have is those lame ''I don't have time to do the tests and show it to you'' to actua...

Re: Katy Perry Mixer - "Ableton sounded terrible" (SoundonSound)

So I'm supposed to be whooohooo super impressed by the Nuendo review and Ableton bash from a dude who does the mastering for a cheesy pop singer hahaha. Whatever. He could even have mastered Beethoven, I wouldn't wet my lace panties neither. That doesn't make other people or artists less ''successfu...
