I love my FF400. Huge sonic upgrade from my previous Presonus/Maudio interfaces. RME is worth the extra $.

I'd suggest something like this http://www.zzounds.com/item--TNYREVEAL501A if you buy through somewhere like zzounds.com or sweetwater.com, they will break your payments up into 3 or 4 so its a little more affordable if you're tight on cash.
