Because how in the world could the Host sequenzer detect and compensate the latency of external gear?

In Cubase i.E. you can change the Time of each Midi-Track in both directions,but even there it must be done manually!!!

Live can´t do this,so you ...

I dont know if this was already suggested,but it would be really nice especially in a big Live-Set of much different Songs containing many Clips.

So i could i.E. do a rhythmical trigger of a current playing clip individually and dont need a 100-Knobs midi-controller to assign all clips

I´m usually rendering the different Parts of my Songs(made within Cubase) in 24bit for the use in Live.Is this necesarry or would also 16bit be enough,because the difference is mostly not audiable?!?

How do you handle this?

I will still use my Cubase SX for Creating,Mixing and Composing and Abelton live for Liveperformance.
SX(especially the Mixer etc) seems to me more solid and well strucktured.Also the versatile (User-)Keycommands,the PDC,Audio editing.......makes it still be my Workhorse :-)
But Live makes more ...

Yes this is also my Question!I like the latency compensation of Cubase SX a lot...otherwise the use of some Plugins (with audiable Latency)would make not much sense.
