Well... I figured it out. Windows XP was using Echo Gina3 as it's default MIDI device. Live doesn't like that. Other software works around it but Live doesn't like that with Echo products. I changed the default MIDI device to Microsoft Midi and it seemed to free up Echo MIDI and it works just fine ...

If anyone has any suggestions... please let me know. I can't get MIDI out to work on Ableton Live 5.2 with Echo Gina 3G Audio Interface.

Can Ableton Live 5.2 send Midi out to external midi synths? I can't seem to send MIDI OUT!

I can't get Live 5 to Send MIDI out to my Echo Gina 3G. I keep on getting the error : "Midi Device Gina3G Midi could not be activated. It may be in use by another application" But it's not being used by another application and I can get MIDI OUT using Nuendo and Sonar.
