Look for "Saving Presets" in the manual - https://www.ableton.com/en/move/manual/#saving-presets
I'm pretty sure it works with drum racks too, it's not the most obvious menu to get to but I guess it's something do don't do so often.
To do so, first select the preset you want to save in the Device ...

Re: [Feature Request] Reset encoder to default value upon double tap
Just double tapping might be a bit too easy to accidentally do, but holding delete & double tapping would probably work.
(In fact, this is what I assumed it would do and was sad to find out there’s no way to quickly get back to the default, so definitely +1 to this request!)

Re: Is Ableton Move's Audio In port balanced
I get the same issue with noise, I’m pretty sure it’s coming from the dirty supply on my USB-C hub as that’s where the powers coming from. It’s not a ground loop hum, it’s loads of noise.

Re: [FEATURE REQUEST]: Sidechaining
+1 to this. The Novation Circuit Tracks managed to pull it off on a much less powerful chip (sure, it wasn’t _real_ sidechaining, just triggered ducking, but it worked well).

Re: Move as audio interface for an external synth?
I also wanted this setup, similar to how I use my Novation Circuit Tracks. It’s really nice to be able to use an external synth without having to lug a mixer around.
A feature request though: let us route the audio through a channel rather than just via the cue. It’d be great to be able to layer ...

Re: Feature Request: Audio/Midi via USB-C
Definitely.
I’ve got a whole bunch of sets in Live that I want to transcribe to the Move. I thought id be able to just play the clips & record the MIDI straight to the Move, but instead I now need TWO usb to midi adapters (one for the laptop, and one for the move) with a midi cable in between.

Live, Mac Target Firewire Mode & Licences.
Mornin'
I was wondering if anyone has ever had License problems when switching between Macs using target firewire mode a lot.
Example: I've got a Powerbook and an iMac, when I'm at home I put the Powerbook into target mode, and boot my OSX install from the iMac for some 64-bit love.
