you are right, but more for the hardware/software issue. the only real advantage for Ableton is and will always be true screen real estate. Not pixeldensity, only inches of screen space (with the right resolution) really matters :) If I would run Live on 2880x1800 or whatever on a 15.4" screen,...

thanks, I will try Ms. Pinky then. seems to be quite difficult to make such a plugin (that is not intended, but could also be used for dj-ing )

Hi, does anyone know if there is a plugin (AU or VST) that makes use of any timecode vinyl to control effects or clips in Live? I have an RME FF400, but this is probably too big for what you want and need, also it is pretty portable when it's running via firewire.
So I do recommend the Apogee One, which is small, great sounding and not that expensive. Or get the new Duet 2, if you need more in's&out's!
