I have been running an ASUS K52Jc i5 laptop for 5 months, it is great. Did the usual Win7 tweeks but nothing exotic. Win7 and Mac OS are close enough now (that Mac is Intel) that the diff for me is negligeble - and this machgine works as wel as my macs easily. I paid $700 for it.

I am saying that 15 ms is what is reported in LIVE pref's in Win7 with the tascam usb interface. To me it feels like more. The driver developer says he gets 10 ms in Win7 with this interface, and that is not a problem for him. I get a reported 10 ms in an XP system here that is driven by an Emu card...
