Doh I just mapped my tempo controller to my Trigger Finger no problemo so I guess I was just smoking something when I thought I could not map a knob to tempo.

Using Live5 with a brand new Mackie Control Universal. Amazing combo , I am very pleased so far with the level of integration.

Is there a way for plug-ins to become visible as they are being accessed from within remote control surfaces? I can access the plugin's parameters but it would also be cool ...

Do you have those MIDI ports set to ON in the Devices menu above Remote Control? They probably have to also be enabled to allow the handshake or whatever the DAW does initially with the MCU.

Did you ever get this resolved? I have a new MCU coming in a couple days and hope I don't have this same ...
