Re: is Max for Live the wrong answer to the wrong question?
Maybe to nuance the topic, you can use BEAP or Oscillot (although you have to pay for this one on top of max 4 live) to get closer to the left image. On my side, it allows me to dig into many modular synthesis tutorials such as those by Rob Hordijk or Roland Kuit in a way close to that of the nord m...

I have to pick it up from my delivery store, so yes it is out. It might be really out of stock.

Re: One of those threads about the future of Ableton
9.2 Beta's release notes sound interesting. # justsaying... But seriously, a bad workman etc etc. Our tools are good, and I think rather than looking to our DAWs to come up with 'game changing innovations' we should focus on making better music. I am in general rather baffled by the tendency to wan...

Re: One of those threads about the future of Ableton
What features do you miss? Regarding instruments, did you explore their full potential as is? Are you sure you really know the ins and outs of FM synthesis (0Hz -FM for example, see Rob Hordijk's webpages on the G2 modular : most of the FM tricks he describes can be achieved with Operator)? Did you ...

Re: LIVE 9.2b1 Discuss....
Well, whoever they hired, these additions to the default working of Push are nice. No script to install anymore (except maybe for the seapunk skin)... Next step, the removal of the 128-parameter limit, and a possibility to assign these parameters to Push accompanied by a capability to rename them, a...

Re: xPlugin - Control more than 128 parameters of a VST
Hi Moscom, According the the instructions it's possible to use Ubermap to rename the parameters - although we havent tested this (its only working on Mac). It seems that the parameters are normally fairly well named - so is there any reason why you might want to rename them? Of course you could use...

Re: xPlugin - Control more than 128 parameters of a VST
Hi xmonsta, I followed the install instructions and I have tried and used the xPlugin. I have a few questions. - is it possible to rename the parameters? It is rather confusing right now. Depsite the fact that it is great to overcome the 128-parameter limit, it is difficult to edit DIVA with only th...

Re: xPlugin - Control more than 128 parameters of a VST
This sounds rally good, but I cannot access the webpage :( Hi moscom_musik, seems to work for me. I'm wondering what sort of error you are getting? Get xPlugin for DIVA VST here - http://www.xmonsta.com/product/diva-vst-xplugin/ Cheers xMonsta Still the same, I just click on the link, and I am told...

As said before in the thread, it is a very inspirational read, and some of those things went through my mind but I never really applied them carefully.

Re: PUSH FORUM NOW CLOSED
When I want updates, I don't expect anything revolutionary, I just want them to work out the kinks (like selecting tracks/devices not interfering with other controllers, two independent Pushs being possible, a Midi Editor etc.). Granted they may still not be easy to program, but for me they are ess...

Re: PUSH FORUM NOW CLOSED
To me, the problem with this is that Ableton brought something new to the table that was really exciting, took care of it for a while, and suddenly, for business reasons probably, decided to stop incremental updates to offer a huge one at some point in time. Although I can see how this seems like a ...
