Re: New Macbook Pro
I actually have nothing against Sierra. When I saw its introduction, I just wondered why I would update. El Capitan sort of fixed some issues, even though it brought some with audio, as far as I understand. But it has been very stable for me. And I do not care at all about any of the new features Si...

Re: New Macbook Pro
To me, this is really an unexciting update. The computers are very expensive, and Sierra has brought nothing to the table (Siri? why should I care? HD Clean Up? Useless too...). Apple somehow has lost its momentum. For the first time in years, I am finding Microsoft's devices really appealing.

Re: New Operator filters aren't resonant at all
OP, you say you're using macros - are you using a racked Operator? have you tried with an unracked Operator and set the controls directly? If the rack was made pre-9.5, then the resonance macro will only be at 83% when 'upgraded' [related rant] i f•••ing LOVE Operator and have used it for many year...

I also hear all of the filters squelch with slight tone changes depending on the model. Inversoundzz, can you post an example video of what you are doing?

Re: Its not an instrument, neither are turntables.
As far as I know, there is no arrabgement view on a guitar, and it still qualified as an instrument this morning when I woke up....

Re: Push 2: when. how big. when will the bugs be ironed out.
Go and play with it in a shop? You will see that it is really cool to get such a surface for a controller. I am not so sure about the bugs you mention, but I certainly did not take Live and Push to their limits...

Re: New Novation's Product
The last image on the page linked in previous posts (where the guy sits on a couch) suggests that this wil be a hardware thing, as he is clearly holding a piece of hardware with a Novation logo on it. So no app here!

Re: is Max for Live the wrong answer to the wrong question?
Well, my point is: think about the Live Device - Autofilter, in the context of that Doepfer module. It's somewhat similar. Autofilter has patch recall and everything you need in the context of DSP software although to match the Doepfer it could do with a few inputs, a few frequency and modulation i...

Re: is Max for Live the wrong answer to the wrong question?
TomViolenz's response sounds the more sensible to me. It is indeed weird that stuff such as the MIDI LFO is accessible only through M4L. This may be an issue too regarding Oscillot, although this one would be arguable. Bitwig's modular environement remains to be seen, and if it is as low-level as re...
