Re: I never noticed !! (NI Battery non automateable parameters..

Have you assigned parameter IDs/CCs to what you want to automate using Battery's automation view? You need to assign parameter IDs in Battery first.

Re: Kore2 + Nocturn crashing Ableton

Have you run Kore as a standalone? All NI plugins must be run as standalones before using them as plugins for the first time after an install or update. Run Kore as a standalone. Reboot your system, start Live and reset your plugin folder. Done. Also, if you're running W7 or Vista, run Live as admin...

Re: out of memory

I'm not sure whether or how i've given you the impression that this is on a 32bit processor... Nobody thinks that. What we're telling you is that Live's a 32 bit app- hence, it will use a max of 4 GB of RAM, no matter what. Furthermore, it will only use 4 GB if you run a 64 bit OS; otherwise, 3 GB ...

One- they're hybrid installers, as are most cross-platform software installers on physical media these days.

Re: Kore 2 - things to know before purchase

- Any problems using Kore 2 with Ableton Live? I want to be able to use the knobs to control the volume sliders in Live, I want to use the transport buttons etc. Is it easy to program this? Any problems? There's a template for Live. I can't say how it works, as I still use Live 6, which doesn't hav...

Re: Who uses presets?

If the preset works in what I'm doing- sure, why not? Why reinvent the wheel if you don't need to? I do demos for some designers. I did a demo tone for biomechanoid's Massive Retaliations soundset; he couldn't even recognize the presets I used by the time the tune was done. Automation can go a long ...

Re: NI down - half price sale on!

I've got a voucher from NI. If I can use this on top of the 50% discount then I'll be getting the 'Reflektor' and 'Traktors 12' effects for use in Guitar Rig. Reflektor is really excellent. How big is the CPU dent when using Reflektor? I was hoping you could use it without Guitar Rig hosting it. Yo...

?

If the synth has a keyboard, it puts out both. That's why there's a MIDI out port, no?

Re: How to run kontact with live

Does anyone know if the memory server can load more than 4GB, does it somehow circumvent the 4GB limitation or does it just make additional 4GB available for the sampled instrument? Yeah that's the point of the memory server, to access all of your ram outside of what a 32 bit host will allow. Is it...

Re: Maschine VST in Live 8.2.1 Out of Sync

That's not making sense- Maschine as a plugin syncs to the host automatically. And, setting it to sync to external clock disables the transport in standalone :~

Not quite true. The VST spec allows for 32 bit FP resolution as far as automation goes:
