I create a lot of grouped tracks. My clips contain names, and when I compact a track group I cannot tell which clips are on a certain scene. I would like to add names to grouped tracks so I can write a description of what I am triggering when triggering a grouped track. That's my suggestion.

If you are going to add sounds at the beggining you can select "insert silence" from the menu. This will move everything to the right and will create an empty space (the size you select) at the beginning.

Definitely Max 4 Live is what you need to solve this problem, but if you want something quick, create a rack of racks.

Is shows the overall volume level of all the sounds you are playing. It turns red when is clipping. To avoid clipping you can use a Limiter, Compressor or a Multiband Dynamics effects. Remember that 0db is the first point of clipping, so you have to keep your levels below 0db.

As ShelLuser said, you should check the quantization mode of your clip, but also you can also take advantage of the launch modes. Check the manual for "Launch modes"

Maybe your hard drive has ran out of space. Have you checked?

But also it depends on how are you recording. If you are rendering, Live cannot export more than 3 hours.

There is no option to turn off recording after a certain amount of time in Live.

I had to learn this the hard way. Just keep everything under the same folder, so it is easy to backup and copy when you have to move to another computer. When I learned this I was able to set up my computer within an hour of buying it and went straight to the club, flawless!
