I'm unsure???? I'm a Noob... please explain?

I've recorded a mix that I am happy with and it sounds and saves fine, however whenever I save to mix to a wav format the last two minutes of the recording is erased and replaced with a white noise or static sound. Help???

I'm new to everything about live but keen to learn so...

I've recorded a mix that I'm happy with, what's the next step?

Do I have to master the mix or add effects etc etc???? Any recommened direction?
