It's happening to me too. I submitted a bug report and this was the response from tech support:
"The issue is, that as soon as the Live Index will scan files it does not recognise ( which is basically all files that are not audio, movie or Live files ) it might hang or crash. Even if it might not ...

Here's another thing I did just a few minutes ago.
I resampled my 6/4 click down to 2/4. If I want the global metronome to hit on 1 and 4, I'm good to go. So I'll have the best of both worlds! I'm in nerd heaven!

I've been having the same frustration. I want the the dotted quarters to be the denominator and I can't seem to find out how. My work around is to use a click track that I created that accents the 1 and 4 with the other beats quieter. I make sure that the scene's time signature is 6/4. I don't use 6 ...
