blue screen between del laptop d830/rme hamerfall multiface1

hi all ,
i've bought redcenltly a dell d 830 laptop to change the older one and
i get a blue screen with the message " irql not less or equal " when i try to record a loop ( midi synced ) with ableton 3/4 . the thing weird is that when i record with cakewalk 8 i get no issue.

i don't own a pegasos but i think there potential to send windows back to his old office usage .....................
i already sent mails to both society ( Genesi , Ableton ) to see if it's reasonable to work on such a projects ,
it seems also that OsX can work on that platform ....... so ...

What about Live on the new MorphOs/Amiga OS4 platform ,
this is builted on a powerpc 1go processor with a modern mother that can have up to 8 go of ram .
this should be enough to run an audio pro software such as Live , and by the way making that platform popular to new users

true , i didn't thought to it but driving mIdI loops from my elektribeM would
be great (so i that won't have to record 550mo sequences ..............)

This is the year 2003 and Ableton can implement a modern midi system to Live
exact , mIdi could become interesting if they treated it like they treated audio

Live uses MIDI for control brilliantly already. Just extend it.

i seeked for a goos software recorder, began my nightmare with cubasis.

who have no idea whatsover about making music.
what the hell do you think you R and want to mean?

Live is fully audio, led with full midi automation,
that's hard enough to built , that Live mIdI control is enough.

Do you think that live woulds remain to be Live with mIdI editing?

i keep thinking Live doens't need to get bigger with midi editing.
maybe an AUdiO Midi feature ?
most great musicians will tell you life is VERY boring without stretching
indeed that's what live does very well

LIve 3 crashed ......no way reloading it.

oK, i was editting a set ,
while i copy/pasted a loop with Ctr-C function , and during that Live crashed suddently whith no reasons apparent.
Then when i try to boot it i get that message 8O
Error closing the file d:\.......\Preferences\Log.txt.
i'm using an audigy with last Kxdriver under Win2Kpro ...

indeed i think it's could be very usefull to use VSTi as rewire devices ,
without mIdI sequences editing.
But i really think midi edit is not the aim of ableton.
