Re: How a midi device could receive midi from a plugin?
Nevermind, it's a basic routing within tracks. Sorry for the stupid question.

How a midi device could receive midi from a plugin?
I'm building a device for controlling Reaktor's Skrewell using the Livid Block. So far, so good: I'm successfully sending midi cc to the plugin and Skrewell is updating as expected. Obviously I had to modify it to enable midi controlling. Now I want my m4l device to receive Skrewell's midi out as cc...

Re: Quality audio interface at max 300$? Details given
At least its not as bad these days as it once was - ended up sticking a digital feedback suppressor inliine with my monitoring as it turned out it recated rather well to the digital shreaks you get out of a crashed audio application. Aha! I remember cutting a lot of nice loops out of these sounds. :)

Re: Quality audio interface at max 300$? Details given
I plan to connect it directly to the monitors Then make sure there's a volume control on your sound card... That's one of the reasons why I have an AK1. (Alternatively, you can get a Mackie Big Knob or similar) Good point, thanks. Although the Microbook has a software mixer, the lack of a physical ...

Yeah, I guessed. Thanks.Khazul wrote:Ignore the knob and buttons - I have never used them.
Anybody else in the room? I really like to hear something about the Microbook, or other equivalent.

Re: Quality audio interface at max 300$? Details given
Which to choose depends upon exactly what you are connectig it too. DJ series for DJ gear and consumer HiFi etc. AK1 for balanced connection to studio mixer/monitors etc and if you need a 48V powered balanced mic input and balanced line inputs etc. Well, in studio I plan to connect it directly to t...

Quality audio interface at max 300$? Details given
Hi, sorry for the quite common question. I'm looking for an usb audio interface with a target max price of 300$. My setup is a laptop with Windows 7 64bit, software used: Ableton Live, Max 4 Live, Reaktor, Sound Forge. The interface's drivers must be multi-client to address multiple programs simulta...

Re: Using midi CCs for putting notes into a midi clip
Ok, I resolved deferring each message sent to [live.object] instead of deferring only [ctlin].

Re: Using midi CCs for putting notes into a midi clip
With a [speedlim 20] is fine. The problem now is that Live crashes when I turn the knob with the patcher window closed

Re: Using midi CCs for putting notes into a midi clip
I'm trying putting a [speedlim] between [ctlin] and [deferlow] for better results.

Re: Using midi CCs for putting notes into a midi clip
I've experienced similar problems with GUI vs. MIDI control. It seems to be a timing/priority issue. Try inserting a [deferlow] object directly after [ctlin]. Yes, something like this, thanks. No more error messages. But now there's a lag that makes the real time operation impossible: when I stop a...

Using midi CCs for putting notes into a midi clip
What I'm trying to do is to fill an existing midi clip with notes using bcr2000 encoders. You can see the minimum case in the picture: http://postimage.org/image/2l0v3bric/ In this example I'm trying to put a note at the beginning of the clip. When I turn the encoder I get a bunch of live.object err...
