I was hoping people would find them useful; they're designed to be basic enough so those who are just starting out with live electr...

new live performance rig videos

Hi, all - I've recently posted 2 new videos showing how I set up and use my live performance rig. The first section deals with selecting, packing, and setting up the gear; the second part describes how I use my setup. It covers using Ableton Live with TouchOSC and OSCulator, pad and keyboard control...

Re: Post your set up and your ugly cat...

How is the griffin Powermate ? Can you use it like novations speed dial? That is ... hover mouse over a vst/control and use the knob ? Or how do you use it ? I like the Powermate a lot. I use it in Arrangement view, set up as follows: Scroll right zooms in on the timeline Scroll left zooms out of t...

Re: Post your set up and your ugly cat...

Here's my studio after a recent cleanup and reorganization. Loving the fact that I only have what I actually will use, instead of all the junk that had accumulated!

Re: Experimental Guitar music sugestions please..

Homebelly was kind enough to suggest that I mention my "6 strings for a winter's day" project after I PM'd him about it: http://www.chromedecay.org/releases/cd002/ If you're in a part of the world where winter still has you in its icy grip, this may be perfect listening. I also am finding ...

[amo] switching audio input from built-in to PodXT crash

I'm on Mac OS X 10.5.6, running Live 8 beta 12.

Switching from the built-in audio output to my Line6 Pod XT Live works fine. Trying to switch from the built-in audio input to the PodXT crashes Live every time so far.

Re: Anyone familiar with Interactive Worship Live

Has anyone used Interactive Worship Live? http://www.interactiveworshiplive.com/ads.asp They use Ableton for their product. I love the concept and I am hoping to do some of my own tracks for worship songs that I have written. I am a Music Pastor for a young adult church and we need extra instrument...

Nice set up. I also have a glockenspiel & various little percussion instruments which I sometimes use in performance, so seeing them here being used live puts a smile on my face. I've been thinking of getting a glockenspiel like yours. How do you like it? The glockenspiel I have is quite a bit ...

My live rig changes pretty regularly depending on the gig. Here are a couple of variations: http://www.flickr.com/photos/chromedecay/1460391735/in/set-72157602203467326/ http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1260/1460391735_4b3632d776.jpg This was a pretty stripped-down setup, due to the fact that I was on...
