I don't agree.
iPads are great for performance. Lemur should work fine for that.

Re: Good synth plugins other than Serum and Massive?

Be sure to check out Icarus wavetable synth from Tone2. It should be way more light on CPU than Serum and I like it much better.
And as others have mentioned, Spire - it sounds superb.

Re: macOS High Sierra compatibility (release)

Do you know if upgrading to High Sierra will improve the macOS speed and efficiency?
Or do we only get new features?

Re: 10 is announced!

Hmmm... I find it a bit harsh or hard and still get way more character and fullness with my other synths.
It helps to add an EQ with a wide dip in the mid range but I think the sound quality should be improved.

Re: 10 is announced!

I've been playing with the beta the last couple of days and it certainly feels great to have Live 10 on my system. It feels like getting a brand new and refreshed Ableton Live with the new look and the many useful new features and overall it feels a lot quicker and more efficient to use. There's muc...

Re: 10 is announced!

+1 for MPE shock. The seaboard RISE has tons of Max support, but trying to get it to halfway work in a M4L patch with workarounds was ultimately a most frustrating and disappointing experience. A bit sad that MPE support isn't included in Live 10.0 If Max is now so well built into Live couldn't MPE...
