actually, you are right, I am asking out of curiosity, in the moment everything runs smooth and I am very happy with the new Push.
I am only a bit worried about projects, which need a lot of CPU, because of heavy-plugin-use - I have to try this first, before I start complaining...

I see that you are using a MacbookPro which can't be so much faster, than my i7-Quad. Can you verify the heavy CPU-load in your system as well?

When I start Live (9.6), it takes about 6% of my CPU. (i7, 2.6mhz, Quad)
When I switch on my Push2, it also takes another 20% CPU by the Process "Push2DisplayProcess", which I guess is for the communication between computer and Push2-display.
Is there any chance in future updates, that this huge CPU ...

thanks for your comment, I found it - yes, it is a VNC-software called Mocha VNC and its free in the app-store....

I am trying right now to select a scene higher than 127 with "M4L.api.SetSelectedSceneIndex", this doesn´t work.
Also not with "M4L.api.SelectNextScene" to step by step go over a scene higher than 127.
I this a kind of "natural" limitation (midi)?
Or is it too late and I am tired?

I managed to use the ambimonitor from ICST (http://www.icst.net/research/downloads/ambisonics-externals-for-maxmsp/) to distribute audio within a 3-D-cube using the 8 sends in Live with M4L for a project I am working on. But this is no real ambisonics, its just panning between the speakers. Still ...

I guess requests are schedulded, and delayed and live.remote~/live.object are a little bit confused and complain to the max window.


So the question is: should I defer things? or manage all these requests differently?
Is there a way to do that easily (I have a lot of subpatchers, inside other ...

Live is the a perfect engine running max-patches, since the hosting of AU-plugins was not possible and the vst~ -object was not working perfectly.

you are right, i forgot that pcontrol might work with maxforlive as well as in max/msp. thanks.
It would be great to handle other plugins-windows like that wouldn´t it?

It's really easy to create devices in floating windows like any usual 3rd party plugin.
