Re: I can't believe how lacking Live is! Happy to be wrong tho..
All it needs is a function that says "Consolidate Arrange View every four bars and enable Loop" Its coming in Live 9 and its called "Consolidate Time to New Scene". You select a section of the Arrangement timeline and it pastes new, trimmed, looped, clips into the Session View a...

I can't believe how lacking Live is! Happy to be wrong tho..
I'm importing 14 tracks from my production computer to my live pa environment, each with one instrument per track (no stems). Ok, so I drag and drop them into Arrange View, setting warp at the bpm of the original tune. Then I want to chop my tracks into 4 bar sections, to trigger with my Launchpad, ...

Re: problem with live and echo indigo on PC
I did three things that solved this problem for me. Not sure which one solved it though.
1) Enabled Power Management on USB ports.
2) Enabled Power Management in BIOS, and Intel Speed Step as well.
3) Uninstalled ASIO4ALL (I think this was the issue).
Works now, and I'm a happy bunny

Bulk File Import, Target Tracks, Create Scenes
Here's what I would like to see, following importing of my first pa track into my new pa template. Whether you're using stems, or individual tracks (I'm using individual tracks), it would be great to be able to automate multiple file imports, and target the track in ableton where you would like to s...

Mayan Tangent - Sacrifice - Inspired by Trax on da Rocks
Hi All, I've been playing round with ideas inspired by my my fave techno records, namely Trax on da Rocks Volumes 1 & 2, by the ever talented Mr. Bangalter of Daft Punk fame.. If you aren't aware, these two records were considered totally awesome back in the 90s and my personal opinion is that n...
