Re: midi keyboard controllers

I do like the all in one use of having the pads and knobs on the keyboard. I just really need a sturdy reliable controller. I tried fixing my Edirol PCR-M30. The contacts under the rubber strip wasn't working right after a year and a half.

midi keyboard controllers

I am in search for a new controller. I have narrowed it down to the Akai MPK49 or the Arturia Analog Experience. I have read that the pads on the Akai is a little buggy but it's a good controller. As for the Arturia I don't really need the extra software and don't know anyone who uses one. Has any o...

Re: My MOTU Ultralite Mk3 Review(-ish)

I route all the sounds from the Motu into Live. In the CueMix set up all your parameters for each track first. I use the first two mic inputs for my vocals and bass. Re: My MOTU Ultralite Mk3 Review(-ish)

Having the Motu do a lot of the DSP processing is the best way to go. It frees up the computer to do other things. I have my vocals, bass and other instruments going in and out of the MOTU and some additional effects from LIVE. It also helps a lot with the latency issues that most people have.

Re: My MOTU Ultralite Mk3 Review(-ish)

All the DSP is used before the signal gets into LIVE. If you have the MOTU software open you will notice at the top there is the DSP meter which shows how much you are using. You can only use it as a stand alone mixer by clicking on the button on the front panel and going through the menus. Check ou...

novation bass station vst

I am trying to do a program change in the Novation Bass Station. I have a clip but the program change goes only to 128. The Novation has more than 128 sounds. What is the Double Program change?
