Tested.
Unfortunately, using REC + Track does exactly the same.

Re: Live 12 : Ableton 'hard arm" deselected when another tarck is selected
Interesting !
I need to test, but that’s a useful discovery. Hopefully this will help to fix it (and in my opinion, hard armed tracks should never be unarmed) as this currently almost stops me from using Push.

I would love these additions as well (but don’t like the « pro » name).
But Drift is awesome as it is, I like the simplicity !

Does it happen with M4L devices ? If yes, which ones ? Or does it happen with native devices ?

Re: Naive question about audio rate modulation
also wondering when audio rate modulation will finally be implement throughout, which will honestly make the use of my modular rig decisively less attractive. in the meantime i use the free m4l "audio rate automation". Thanks for the answer, although my point was not to make a feature req...

Naive question about audio rate modulation
So, I was thinking of the fact that a "x10" toggle was added to the LFO's frequency. I was wondering if I could simply automate/modulate a parameter with an audio signal. Like, plug a signal directly to [live.remote~]. My tests using an Operator Sine as a modulation source to modulate anot...

Re: Convolution Reverb looses settings when opening L11 projects with L12
There were so many problems in the past with previous versions. And I did encounter the exact same thing more than once.
There is maybe a definitive answer on the subject but I’m not aware of any.
You won’t like it but what I ended doing is… switch to Hybrid Reverb.

Re: Expensive update
macros were a nice addition to 11. But instead of new mpe capable synths, I would prefer the macros to be automatable. I guess you mean snapshots. They are not automatable because it would clash with macro automation. Once you know that, you can using one of the several m4l devices that do just tha...

When playing live I certainly want to select a track while playing keyboard on another.

Yeah, it's a Push "feature" with implicit arm. One of the reasons why I "hate" Push.

Re: Live 12 : Ableton 'hard arm" deselected when another tarck is selected
Are you referring to tracks set to "All Ins" as input source ?
They get unarmed after being selected by Push, and I find it horribly annoying. But as it's the same in Live 11, maybe I misunderstood the issue ?

Re: MIDI Map using sysex messages
It all depends on how the messages are structured (this varies a lot from device to device, which explains why it’s not natively useable in Live) but it’s not that hard to convert sysex to ccs with Max. Then if you want to map it via MIDI, you’ll have to use a virtual MIDI Bus. You could also use di...

Re: M4L MIDI-device which outputs MIDI CC's to different MIDI-channels simultaneously
Look into udpsend/udpreceive. I've written a few M4L sequencing patches that all operate on the basis of having everything in one patch controlling different stuff across 2 or 3 midi tracks, utilising a fairly straightforward udpsend/receive system. Not sure if that's maybe what you're looking for....

Re: Bug Report: Live 12 Convol. Reverb Pro
On my side, I totally avoided using Convolution Reverb Pro in favor of the Hybrid Reverb that can load the same impulse responses, can do more and is much more reliable.
