Re: looking for a cheesy saxophone synth

Re: looking for a cheesy saxophone synth
What about using the Apple DLSMusicDevice plugin and selecting one of the saxes from the General MIDI soundset. Voices 65 - 68 are saxophones and very "cheesy"

Free Tashokoto Live Instrument Rack
Hi, I've just added to my blog a free download of an interesting Japanese instrument that I have multi-sampled and made into and Ableton Live rack. http://fidelitarium.blogspot.com.au/2013/05/taishokoto-ableton-live-instrument-rack.html It is a Tashokoto - a six string acoustic instrument which is l...

Re: help: DLS banks in Ableton
So to help or not? Hard to decide when abused but there is a way to do it - at least on OSX and Ableton 9 I am able to load soundfont files using the Apple Audio Unit Sampler.

Re: How do I use Apple Logic instruments with Ableton live?
You can purchase Apples Mainstage from the app store and use it as an external instrument to Ableton. This gives you access to all the Logic instruments and includes all the loops (many gigs) and patches that come with Logic but for about $30 - an incredible deal.

Re: Kalimba players? samples, vst, soundfont , synth,w/e
You can download a Kalimba rack I made from a multi sampling of a small Kalimba I own.
it's at http://fidelitarium.blogspot.com.au/201 ... -rack.html
Let me know if you use it. I'd like to hear what you do with it.

Re: How to actually use operator's pitch bend automation?
Set the pitch bend range within Operator. Draw the pitch bend automation curve in Envelopes/MIDI Ctrl/Pitch bend in the clip.

Use "MIDI to" on the original 6 tracks and "All Ins" on the target track and, as the previous poster says, a Drum Rack on your target.

Re: Steve Reich Piano Phase Rack
In my rack if you map controllers to the left and right Beat Swing macros you can effectively have hardware control of the tempos of the delayed signals. This allows you to snap the tempo differences to zero when you want a particular phased phrase to repeat for a period before continuing to shift a...
